I am here!

At 48 years old we were blessed with a vivacious and healthy baby boy Kenneth Jr. I was expecting for my world to be different but not for it to be literally blown to bits. As I settled back into having a newborn after 22 years of not having to change diapers, breastfeeding, literally no sleep pass 2-3 hours a day and the emotional imbalance your body goes through with postpartum I realized that I was going to be in for a world of difference with our new son.

Gen Mom!

Generational mom is a place for women and men who have children in various generations (also those who don’t) and working through the complexity of understanding and managing expectations while keeping your cool. Things get pretty interesting when you’re trying to parent a 26 year old and 4 year old at the same time. This blog is going to be a place to lay everything on the table the good, the bad and the hilariously funny.
